Elizabeth Douty

Elizabeth Douty is an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant-in-Training working under EMDRIA Consultant, Ashley Garner. Elizabeth works in a private practice setting specializing in EMDR. She also has experience working within the community healthcare system and understands the unique challenges clinicians in these settings face. She is energized by working with folks who are early in their EMDR career or who are looking to ground themselves in the basics of the AIP model. Elizabeth has specialized training in integrating ego states and parts work with EMDR and particularly enjoys supporting clinicians in developing and deepening these skills. Her other areas of focus include helping clinicians enhance their skills in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, addressing complex trauma, and guiding clients through anxiety or shame-based experiences.
